HMC Passed the Initial M&I NADCAP Audit Successfully

HMC has received the initial M&I NADCAP on-site audit from September 7^th to 8^th 2023.

In order to pass this audit successfully, MCQ team started the audit preparation from July and performed the pre-audit according to the requirement of AC7130 and relevant checklists. During the pre-audit, we highlighted the key points of the audit and identified the weakness of our current process. To improve the process, one engineer and one inspector were sent to AVIC Xi’an Aircraft Industry Group Company Ltd to communicate and study, and they reviewed our work instructions and inspection instructions related with the Laser Tracker when they were back. At the same time, MCQ, MCF, MCH and other departments were coordinated to optimize our procedure/process.

During the two-day audit, the auditor checked the quality management system and witnessed two in-process jobs. Our inspectors showed skillful operation and explained the working principle of the equipment and software clearly. Our engineers also provided correct and detailed answers to auditor, which were highly appreciated by auditor during audit. Finally, we got 0 finding. The achievement was the result of all our team work, facing and getting over the difficulty together.

We finished initial M&I NADCAP audit successfully, which is a recognition of our laser tracker inspection work. In the future, we are going to continually improve our quality management system and Laser Tracker operation according to auditor’s suggestions to reach a higher level of 3D measurement.
